1. Provider and scope
The provider of Blinkivo and this website is Abbashan Karasahin. The address and contact details are in the Legal Notice. This page summarises contractual and usage information about the product. It is not a separate agreement entered into by visiting the website. Additional contractual terms apply only if they have been validly incorporated into the relevant contract. Reading the website does not create any payment obligation, subscription or app purchase.
2. Blinkivo and this website
Blinkivo runs in your Mac’s menu bar and reminds you to take eye breaks. You can adjust the break interval and duration, start or skip a break, and pause reminders temporarily. Optional app rules, natural breaks, alert sounds and volume reduction follow your settings. The timer features require no account or internet connection.
The website provides information about Blinkivo. It does not install an app or start reminders on your device.
The Mac app is a separate product. The website can also be accessed on other devices; this does not mean that the app is available for their operating systems. Blinkivo is a Mac app for macOS 26 or later; no iPhone, iPad or browser app is offered here. Technical requirements and offered features are described in the product information provided before purchase. Public statements remain relevant to the extent required by law.
3. Purchase, price and payment
Blinkivo is offered through the Mac App Store as a one-time purchase without a subscription. This website does not accept orders or process payments. Availability, the final price including the taxes shown in the store, and the information presented before purchase are set out in the relevant App Store listing.
The contract is concluded and payment is processed in the App Store under the terms displayed there. The Apple company involved and its role are determined by the Apple Media Services Terms and Conditions applicable to your region and the order information.
4. Licence for the Mac app
The Blinkivo app obtained through the Mac App Store is subject to Apple’s Standard End User Licence Agreement, unless the App Store specifies another licence agreement that has been validly incorporated. This website page does not replace or extend the app licence. Under the Standard EULA, the licensor of a third-party app is the app provider, not Apple. These notices do not restrict mandatory statutory consumer rights. Simply visiting the website does not change any existing agreement.
5. Withdrawal, defects and updates
Statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. This includes, in particular, any existing right of withdrawal, rights relating to defects in digital products, and legally required updates, including security updates. This page contains no blanket exclusion of statutory warranty rights or liability.
Please refer to the withdrawal information provided with your App Store purchase. Under German law, early expiry of the right of withdrawal for paid digital content requires, in particular, your express consent to performance starting before the withdrawal period ends, your acknowledgement of the resulting loss of that right, and receipt of the legally required contract confirmation. Performance must also have begun. A download alone, or reading this page, does not replace these conditions.
For App Store purchases, you can use Apple’s portal for purchase issues and refund requests. Using this portal is not a condition for exercising statutory rights and does not limit claims against the responsible contracting party. A discretionary refund decision by Apple does not replace the assessment of statutory rights. For technical problems with Blinkivo, contact us at support@blinkivo.app.
6. Updates and operation
Necessary updates, including security updates, are provided for the period required by applicable law; describing the purchase as a “one-time purchase” does not, by itself, limit that period. Updates are delivered through the Mac App Store. Statutory information and update obligations remain unaffected.
Reminders require Blinkivo to be running and not paused by your settings or the system state. Meetings and videos are not detected automatically. You can pause reminders or set rules for selected open apps: either pause the timer while these apps are open, or run it only while at least one is open. Apps running in the background count too. Blinkivo suspends reminders during system or display sleep and while the user session is inactive.
7. Purpose and limitations
Blinkivo reminds you to take eye breaks at intervals you choose. The app and website provide general information and help you organise your time at a screen. They do not provide diagnosis, treatment or individual medical advice, and do not promise any particular health outcome.
You decide when a break fits your activity. Blinkivo does not replace statutory workplace design or occupational health and safety obligations. Apple does not develop or operate Blinkivo and does not endorse any health effects of the app.
8. Privacy and contact
The Privacy Policy explains the data processed in connection with the website, app and contact enquiries. Our contact details are provided in the Legal Notice. Mandatory consumer protection rules and statutory rules on jurisdiction remain unaffected.
